GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION


Prospectus
Every student seeking admission to the school must obtain the school prospectus. It contains an admission form which must be dully filled in legibly by the student. As admission is made strictly on merit, the form must be presented as soon as the admission starts.

INTERVIEW :
No student is given admission without a personal interview with principal.

MERIT :
Admission to various classes shall be done strictly on merit and first –come first served basis.

SEATS :
Since the number of seats allotted to each classes are restricted, admission will be closed as soon as the required number is completed. Late admission will be permitted only if seats are available.

PROCEDURE OF ADMISSION :
Class XII (Med./Non-Med.) : Test for provisional admission will be conducted in the last week of March and 1st week of April first or second week of April in the subjects : Phy., Chem., Bio., or Maths and English. The time duration of each subject’s question paper will be 25 minutes and contain MCQ type questions on the course content of class XI. Each question paper carries 25 marks. The admission will be regularized after the declaration of class XI result.
Class XI (Med./Non-Med.) : Test for provisional admission to be conducted in Last week of March & 1st week of April in the subjects Phy., Chem., Maths., Bio. And English on the course content of Class X. Each question paper is of 20 minutes duration and carries 20 marks.
They Must bring at the time of admission :
(i) Migration certificate in original
(ii) Passport size photographs
(iii) School leaving certificate of previous school, character certificate

For C.B.S.E students :
Migration certificate in original.
School leaving certificate counter signed at C.B.S.E. headquarter Panchkula.
Class IX & X : Test will be conducted in the last week of March and first week of April in the subject : Science, Maths, Hindi, English and S.St. The medium of test is English and Hindi. Each question paper is of 35 minutes duration and carries short answer type questions on the course content of previous class. The question paper will be of 100 marks. The medium of instructions for Science and Maths in the school is English.
The admission is regularized after the declaration of result of class VIII provided the student satisfies the eligibility conditions laid down by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh & H.P. Board of School Education.

They Must bring at the time of admission :
Passport size photograph and school leaving certificate of previous school.
Classes I to VIII : The admission test will be conducted in the first week of April to assess the level of learning of the student in the subjects of the previous class.

Pre-primary (Nursery & KG) Classes : Students are directly admitted to these classes on the first come first served basis, providing satisfied age and other conditions laid down by the Dept. of education. Minimum age for admission to Nursery class is 2½ years, and for UKG is 4 years.

They Must bring at the time of admission :
a) Passport size photograph
b) Birth certificate
